Duties of Position

Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training programs or activities to meet customer learning objectives. Collaborates with customer to develop, enhance, and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content to complete training support packages using Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) II/Learning Object Module (LOM) and Content Planning Module (CPM) IAW NAVEDTRA 130 series manuals. Participate in Training Requirements Reviews (TRR) with supported customer to evaluate current training. Support the development of Navy Training System Plans (NTSP) IAW OPNAV INST 1500.76, and conduct necessary NTSP revisions via Human Analysis & Requirements Planning System (HARPS).

Required Skills & Experience

Must have 5+ years of experience with USN Communications, C4I or TacMobile equipment maintenance; 3+ years of this experience must be maintaining C4I systems or operating TacMobile equipment. 5+ years of demonstrated experience developing military or industrial curriculum. Familiarity with Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM), Content Planning Module (CPM), and Learning Object Module (LOM) software. Demonstrated experience with USN training requirements and processes (e.g., NAVEDTRA 130 series). Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office and Teams applications and computer databases. Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related technical field from an accredited university OR Certification as Navy Instructor (Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 9502). US SECRET security clearance.

This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.

Preferred Skills

Certification as Navy Instructor (NEC 9502) or Navy Curriculum Developer (NEC 9506). Certification as Master Training Specialist. Familiarity with Human Analysis & Requirements planning System (HARPS). Demonstrated knowledge or experience with USN training requirements and processes (e.g., Training Requirements Planning (TRP), Navy Training System Plan (NTSP), and Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) processes). Demonstrated experience interacting with US and foreign senior military/government officials. Photoshop, Microsoft Visio, PPT, additional Graphics Design skills a plus.
